The curtains of TEXSOM INTERNATIONAL WINE AWARDS had fallen setting new record regarding the number of submitted wines and participated countries. This year, Sofia Perpera, New Wines of Greece Ambassador, and Yiannis Karakasis MW were invited as critics at the most esteemed competition held in the US.
The results were a huge applause for Greek wines (87 medals /12 Golds, 40 Silvers and 35 Bronzes) , highlighting at the same time some of the BEST values.
Nothing but joy for our team, as we are counting 2 out of the 12 Golds won by Greek wines, and 3 out of 40 Silvers:
GOLD: Santorini Assyrtiko Grande Reserve 2013 (Santo Wines)
GOLD: Naoussa Reserve 2012 (one of the 3 Golds given to Greek Reds)
SILVER: Kanenas Red 2013
SILVER: Rapsani Grande Reserve 2009
SILVER: Santorini Assyrtiko 2014 (Santo Wines)
BRONZE: Rapsani 2013
Congrats to all winners!
