The latest issue of Robert Parker’s WINE ADVOCATE is out and Mark Squires talks about the “Great Red North of Greece”. Indeed lots of impressive reds, but also some exciting whites and roses that wine enthusiasts should be looking for.
Mark Squires has tasted our wines presented in this issue during his visit in Greece (June 2016). The tasting took place at the winery of BOUTARI in Naoussa (many thanks to Yianis Vogiatzis and his team for the great hospitality).
Beautiful red wines from the one-of-a-kind vineyard of Mount Athos -like our Metoxi 2004 and Agioritiko Abaton 2010-, as well as the soon-to-be-released Rapsani Grande Reserve 2010, consistency in great values and best sellers like the current vintages of Rapsani, Rapsani Reserve and Kanenas red blend, but also notable first appearance for our Klima Klima Organic Assyrtiko from Halkidiki and the new labels of “Emmetros Logos” (white and rose blends). We have many reasons to smile as the new entries and vintages soon-to-be-released demonstrate great potential.
