TYPE: Red dry wine
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: Merlot (100%)
Intense red colour with ruby highlights. Aromas of fresh fruits such as plum, black cherry and blackberry, together with a slight botanical note of bay leaf. On the palate the wine is juicy with well-integrated tannins and a long fruity aftertaste.
Ideal serving temperature: 15-20°C (60-68 °F)
Grapes are picked by hand and passed through sorting tables for the best quality fruit to be selected. Destemming and cold maceration for five days. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and the wine spends one month in French oak barrels of 1st and 2nd fill.
